About Lightning Loader
Built in Australia. Trusted worldwide.
Our Story
Lightning Loader was conceived and built by a team of experienced software engineers and logistics professionals based in Australia. With decades of combined industry experience spanning freight forwarding, container shipping, trucking and supply-chain optimisation, we knew first-hand how costly and complicated professional load-planning tools could be.
Most enterprise-grade loading simulators on the market required expensive per-seat licences, lengthy on-boarding contracts, and desktop-only installations that ruled out warehouse managers and drivers working from tablets or shared terminals. We set out to change that.
After years of development and real-world testing with Australian importers, freight brokers and logistics operators, we launched Lightning Loader — a fully browser-based, tablet-friendly 3D cargo and load-planning simulator that delivers professional results at a fraction of the cost of traditional solutions.
Made in Australia
Our multidisciplinary team brings together software engineers, logistics specialists, UX designers and freight industry veterans — all working together to deliver the most accessible and cost-effective load planning platform available.
What Sets Us Apart
Desktop & Tablet Friendly
Designed from the ground up to work beautifully on desktops, laptops and tablets. No app to install — it runs entirely in your browser so your team can plan loads from the warehouse floor.
Up to 80% Cheaper
Competitor 3D loading simulators can cost thousands of dollars per seat per year. Lightning Loader's Pro plan gives you the same professional-grade features for a fraction of the price — with no lock-in contracts.
Real 3D Animation
Our step-by-step forklift loading animation gives warehouse teams and drivers a clear, visual sequence of exactly how each cargo item should be loaded — reducing errors and rework on the dock.
Built by Industry Veterans
Every feature was shaped by people who have worked in logistics, freight forwarding and supply-chain operations. We understand your workflows because we have lived them.
Compliance Ready
The built-in lashing calculator follows IMO CTU Code and EN 12195-1 standards. Weight distribution heatmaps help you meet axle compliance requirements before cargo ever leaves the warehouse.
Continuously Improving
We release regular updates driven by real user feedback. New container types, reporting tools and integrations are added on an ongoing basis — at no extra cost to existing Pro subscribers.
